"Update: So I order food today which is 07/27/25. 12am it's Sunday.... Catfish was cut into nuggets and the hush puppies were burnt. I eat here enough for this not to happen but unfortunately it did today to whom ever cooked this yall suck!!!!! And it will be months before I come back again. I hate to write this review but this cannot happen again!!! I refused to spend money on burnt food and it was no way in the world the cook did not know. I know old it's a lot of older people that eat there and I know for a fact that wouldn't have been served to any of them even if was a Togo order!!!!!! My family and friends have enjoyed eating here for 35 years + the food has been always hot and fresh and service is friendly. You can choose to eat in or take out. Everything is good here so I have no suggestions. Plenty of weekly specials as well."

"Food was delicious. Enjoyed a different style potato salad. Baked beans tasted like they were smoked and was tasty. Shrimp and cheese grits yummy!"

"They are now serving down-home country cooking on Sundays while it lasts, cooked fresh for the day, which includes your choice of meat, two sides, cornbread, drink, and dessert. OMG! It was so good! Five stars for this delicious meal! The hamburgers are made from quality beef, prepared fresh and cooked to perfection, and finally, their seafood is grilled or fried, cooked fresh, with your choice of two sides, and always served with a friendly smile. The restaurant is clean and is nicely decorated. It comes highly recommended!"

"Great customer service! It's a small mom and pop restaurant but the food is impeccable, our waitress had the best customer service, service was very fast our food came out great temperature no issues! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices were wonderful. When we left we were so full and definitely can't wait to come back again"

"I knew from the number of people coming in and out as we drove by that this was the small town favorite; and I can taste why! The place was cheerfully packed on a Saturday afternoon with customers of all ages. I ordered the catfish plate with cheese grits and a side salad, while my husband had the shrimp and scallops and potato salad. The efficient and friendly waitress assured us the potato salad would not disappoint, and she was right! Recommend a raise for the chef (and owner). We'll be back next time we're in town. Thanks, y'all!"
